ART & CULTURE PROGRAMS
INTERNATIONAL ARTIST RESIDENCYOur multidisciplinary residency is a dynamic space for artistic exploration, where each resident defines their own creative journey. Rooted in collaboration, the program invites artists to engage with Thai creatives and local communities, fostering meaningful cultural exchange. Through exhibitions, workshops, performances, and dialogue, we explore how art and culture can inspire positive environmental change.
Our artist residency is invitation-only.

We’re delighted to be launching Lab XL, a program collaboration between Creative Migration/Bangkok 1899 and Artsadmin, supported by the British Council’s Connections Through Culture program.
While Lab X centred around an exchange between Thai & UK artists, Lab XL shifts the focus towards leadership and systems.
TRANSMEDIA PROJECTWith the understanding that the Climate Crisis is deeply entwined with other ongoing injustices and struggles, Space Saloon and Creative Migration hosted a safe, comfortable and non-judgmental space to verbally confront the topic of Solastasia, the paralyzing melancholia induced from environmental distress.
We are very excited to introduce BRIDGE, a residency between Seoul, Helsinki, Bangkok and Marrakech!
BRIDGE was developed in response to a simple but pressing question: how can international cultural exchange move beyond short-term mobility and towards deeper, more meaningful relationships between artists, institutions and places?
