Green Patriot Posters

A multimedia design campaign mobilizing artists around climate messaging, documented by Creative Migration's own film POST NEW BILLS.
Green Patriot Posters

Green Patriot Posters is a multimedia design campaign, founded by The Canary Project and Dmitri Siegel, that challenges artists to deepen public understanding of environmental issues and ignite collective climate action. By the time Creative Migration documented it, the campaign had already reached an estimated five million people through print media, public space, and digital culture.

Contributors to the campaign include designers and artists such as Shepard Fairey, Michael Bierut, DJ Spooky, and Mathilde Fallot. Creative Migration's involvement centered on POST NEW BILLS, its 2014 documentary telling the campaign's story and interviewing its key contributors and founders.

Green Patriot Posters exemplifies the kind of collective, artist-driven climate messaging that Creative Migration has continued to champion in its later programming, from POST NEW BILLS through to CCAT's toolkit work in Southeast Asia today.
