A 2014 short documentary produced by Creative Migration telling the story of the Green Patriot Posters campaign and the power of art to shift public perception on climate change.
POST NEW BILLS

POST NEW BILLS: The Story of Green Patriot Posters (2014) is a short documentary produced and directed by Creative Migration founder Susannah Tantemsapya, illustrating how art can influence public perception on environmental issues. The film features interviews with Green Patriot Posters contributors including Shepard Fairey, Michael Bierut, DJ Spooky, and Mathilde Fallot, alongside the campaign's founders, The Canary Project and Dmitri Siegel.

The film was the only American entry accepted into the first edition of Project Green (2011), an initiative from NOMAD Films challenging filmmakers to build sustainability into their production process, and was itself shot across Los Angeles, Ventura, San Francisco, New York, Paris, and Stockholm using low-carbon production methods. POST NEW BILLS has since screened in New York, Boston, Berkeley, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Stockholm, and was featured in the Artbook D.A.P. publication 100 Days of Active Resistance.

POST NEW BILLS remains an early marker of a conviction Creative Migration has carried through to CCAT and Bangkok 1899 today: that art and storytelling are essential tools for climate engagement.
